🚑 EMS Billing Update – District 7 Fire/Rescue

District 7 Fire/Rescue is currently transitioning to a new EMS billing provider.

During this transition, some patients may experience delays in receiving billing statements. We understand this can be frustrating and want to be upfront about what to expect while the change is underway.

Frequently Asked Questions:

• I haven’t received my bill yet — what should I do?
Please allow additional time during the transition. If you have concerns, contact our administrative office and we’ll help you track it down.

• I am currently making payments on an existing account — what happens now?
Patients currently making payments through our previous billing provider will begin receiving statements from the new billing company once the transition process is complete.

• Who do I contact with questions or issues?
Please contact our administrative office directly so we can assist you or connect you with the appropriate billing representative.

We appreciate your patience as we make this change to improve our billing process and customer experience.

🚨 FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT 🚨

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for our area from Thursday evening through Friday evening.
🌧️ What to expect:
• Multiple rounds of heavy rain are possible
• Rainfall totals of 2–4 inches, with isolated higher amounts
• Increased risk of flash flooding, especially in low-lying and flood-prone areas

⚠️ Why this matters:
A Flood Watch means conditions are favorable for flooding. Creeks, rivers, and low water crossings may rise quickly, and urban areas could see rapid runoff and street flooding.

🛑 Safety reminders:
• Never drive through flooded roadways — Turn Around, Don’t Drown
• Stay weather aware and monitor alerts
• Be prepared to take action if warnings are issued
We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as needed. Stay safe.
