The U.S Army Medical Center of Excellence is located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. MEDCoE is the military's premiere medical education and training institution. Vision:
“To be the foundation on which Army Medicine is built, sustained, and transformed.”

Mission:
“MEDCoE Develops Leaders and Drives Change in Army Medicine to prepare the Army to compete and win in large scale combat operations (LSCO)

against peer threats in multi-domain contested environments.”

Retired Sgt. 1st Class Sammie L. Davis, Medal of Honor recipient, watches his grandson, Pfc. Reuben Brinkmeter, graduate as a 68W Combat Medic.

The modern battlefield demands more than traditional resupply. Soldiers assigned to the 44th Medical Brigade, XVIII Airborne Corps, are building the capability to meet it.

1st Sgt. Fisamuel Reggans and Cpl. David Sanchez, dental specialists with the brigade's Dental Company Area Support element, completed the Clemson University Drone Academy's Unmanned Aircraft Systems course, integrating drone operations into medical resupply missions.
