Reflections on this 2025 Mayoral Campaign:

To all my supporters and the folks that voted for me.
I cannot thank you enough for all your support, love, prayers, financial contributions, hours of work and votes that each of you so graciously provided during this campaign.
Y’all kept me going with your words of encouragement and unceasing enthusiasm especially on those days when negative comments crept in. In those dark moments I knew you were still there supporting me. Sadly, some people prefer to maintain the drumbeat of negativity and shame while others see the blessing of grace, hope and transformation that comes from being human and making mistakes. There are many that did show compassion and recognized the good things I did for San Antonio while on council and my vision as mayor. Thank you for sticking by me through it all!
While we all hoped for a different outcome yesterday, I firmly believe that none of this was in vain. We all love San Antonio and want what’s best for our city and it is people like you that make running for an elected position a true honor.
Thanks for having faith in me and please know God has something else in store for me.
We all share a deep concern about where our city is headed. To that end, I urge you to continue serving San Antonio, voicing your concerns, holding true to your values and pushing for a better city—it does make a difference.
Each of you holds a special place in my heart and I’m blessed by you and am grateful beyond words.

I will continue to pray for our city.
