Thank you to our Martin PTA for paletas & loteria and to Communities In Schools of San Antonio for inviting some great community partners to Martin this evening. Families engaged in making water cycle bracelets, budgeting at the make-believe grocery store, learning some "stop-the-bleed techniques, and even got some tips on waste and recycling! It was a fun evening! 👏🏽👌🏽

Dear Martin Community,
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our beloved namesake, Mr. Jim G. Martin, whose impact will forever be cherished.
Even until his health limited him, Mr. Martin visited our students regularly, pouring his heart into ensuring Martin Elementary thrived under his care.
Mr. Martin stood tall as a pillar of our community, and though his legacy continues to inspire, his absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt.
You will be greatly missed, Mr. Martin!
