FVPS, The Battered Women and Children's Shelter FVPS operates the Battered Women and Children's Shelter of San Antonio and additional programs. Serving women, men and children affected by domestic violence.

FVPS provides residential and non-residential services to families affected by domestic violence in south central Texas, including 24-hour emergency housing and services through the Battered Women and Children's Shelter and transitional housing for families; counseling, violence intervention program, substance abuse intervention for adolescents, and community-based counseling for homeless.
