North East ISD is aware of Metro Health’s recommendation against in-person instruction. At this time, NEISD does not plan to make any adjustments to our learning models. The District will continue to offer both in-person and virtual learning options for families. The Texas Education Agency requires that school districts offer in-person instruction and will not allow 100% remote learning. In addition, we believe schools are one of the safest places for our students and staff. Our safety protocols are effective, and data shows COVID-19 is not spreading within schools. As always, we will continue to closely monitor health metrics and update you with any developments.
