We had a fantastic First Friday D.E.A.R. event today! At 8:00 this morning, all of our Huskies dropped everything and read! Check out these great readers...and watch to the end for a preview of next month's D.E.A.R. theme!

Our 3rd graders are getting hands-on with perimeter. They used different strategies including paper clips to measure the distance around different objects, helping them see that perimeter is all about finding the total distance around a shape. 🐾❤️🤍💙

A reminder that Monday, September 7 is a student and staff holiday. Our campus, along with all NEISD campuses and District offices, will be closed.

We hope our students, staff and families enjoy the extra day off! Rest, recharge and have some fun—we’ll see everyone back at school on Tuesday! 😁

Drop Everything and Read!

On the first Friday of each month, all of our students will participate in a school-wide DEAR time at 8:00 sharp. Students are invited to wear their favorite team jersey as we Team Up for Reading! Be sure your Husky has a book or two to read in their backpack next Thursday night!
