🚨 CRITICAL CALL TO ACTION: Demolition is On the Table. Save Yorktown Memorial Hospital 🚨
Demolition is on the table, and Yorktown Memorial Hospital needs your help. The City of Yorktown has scheduled a public hearing on the possible next steps for the hospital, a vital and rare mid-century landmark that we, as its owners, are actively working to preserve.
This building is not just abandoned property; it's a living record of Texas’s rural medical history. We have been working to restore it and pursue official historic status, but the City is still pushing for more severe action against us.
We need to show the City that the community stands with preservation. Your action matters right now.
- SHOW UP IN PERSON:

* When: Monday, November 17, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

- CAN'T ATTEND? CALL IN: 361-564-2611

"This hearing represents an opportunity to inform and inspire — to highlight Yorktown’s role in Texas history and to preserve the enduring legacy of the Felician Sisters who served here with compassion and faith." - Co-Owner, Fred Garza-Guzman
