Tomorrow is the big day for the dorm room drive drop off at the Alamo Convocation Center! This is a drive-by event, all you need to do is pull up between 12:00-6:00 pm and honk, and we will come to your vehicle. Can't make it tomorrow but still want to help? A donation as little as $50 will help us purchase a new bed in a bag, towels, laundry bag, detergent and more for our newest alumni as they head off to college.

Michelle Reyes, Program Support Coordinator for San Antonio ISD's Office of Family & Community Engagement gave $50 and said, "I can relate to the need; I came from a very poor & dysfunctional upbringing. I just love seeing these young adults succeed even through the hardships many of them might face!! I couldn’t have done it without motivation and support from the staff of SAISD. When I first started working for SAISD in HR, I would see the wealth of knowledge and education that would come through the doors. I thought to myself 'I want that'! Even through my challenges, and a few years later, I was able to obtain a Bachelor’s from Texas A&M San Antonio and a Masters from OLLU. It took awhile but I got it done. Now, I am able to give back!!" Thank you, Michelle!
