First, a HUGE thank you to our amazing community! Our teachers and nurse felt so much love and appreciation. They truly deserve it! ❤️

We have a very busy few weeks coming up. Please mark your calendars for these important updates:

📣 Cheer Tryouts (Incoming 3rd–8th Graders)
Does your student have school spirit?
• When: May 11th - 15th
• Details: Students can stop by Room E126 for info, or parents can email [email protected]

📚 School Book Fair
• Student Shopping: Starts May 12th.
• Family Shopping: Open during Art Night on May 13th!
🎈 Volunteer Opportunity: We need volunteers! Please reach out to Ms. Sartin if you can help us coordinate.

🎨 Art Night: "Under the Sea" Dive into our student art showcase!
• When: May 13th from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
🎈 Volunteer Opportunity: We are seeking volunteers on Tuesday to help to with balloons and backdrop set up. Please reach out to our Art teacher Ms. Mendoza or Ms. Gonzalez (1st grade) to coordinate.
We can’t wait to see you there! 🐚

🏃 Field Day Prep
Field Day is right around the corner! We are still looking for donations of:

Your support, stellar attendance, and punctuality? You're they're the real MVPs. Our 3rd and 4th graders just crushed their STAAR testing with some seriously impressive grit and determination 💪 We're beaming with pride!

Come May, we're shifting gears to End-of-Year assessments with iReady and mClass 📊, giving us a clear picture of how much your students have grown and getting them ready to level up next year.

Huge thanks to our 3rd & 4th graders for crushing ELA testing! Now, they’re shifting gears to Math. Every morning counts as we prep to hit our growth targets over the next 4 weeks.

• The Goal: We’re aiming for 80% growth to ensure every student walks into next year feeling confident.
• What’s Next: After assessments, we’ll reach out to schedule conferences and build personalized success plans for the summer and fall.
