Intervention Service is a 501 c 3 tax exempt non profit organization with the primary goal of providing resources to the community emphasizing providing aid to the formerly incarcerated. We endeavor to provide intervention services to clients who are on bond or on community supervision by removing obstacles and providing support before they re-offend and land in prison.

🎓 Now Open: Opportunity Home Resident Scholarship Applications 🎓

Opportunity Home residents can apply for a $3,000 scholarship to help cover college tuition, books, supplies and other school expenses.

Application deadline: 5 p.m. June 1

To apply, students must:

• Live in Opportunity Home Public Housing or Affordable Housing Communities, or be a resident through the Housing Choice Voucher program
• Be a graduating high school senior, currently enrolled in college, or a returning college student
• Be enrolled full time at a college, university, technical school or other post-secondary institution in Fall 2026
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher
• Submit a 500-word essay and two letters of recommendation

Applicants may also be considered for a one-time $500 Joshua Longoria “Passion for Life” Memorial Scholarship, which requires a separate essay and additional eligibility criteria.
