Texas Leadership of San Angelo Growing Leaders Kindergarten - 12th Grade

We believe every child should have the opportunity to attend a high quality public school that best meets their needs and helps them reach their full potential. In 2009, Texas Leadership Public Schools opened its doors with 84 faculty and staff members to serve 600 students and their families. The school grew rapidly as testimonies from parents to friends, neighbors and co-workers began pouring in

. It has been through the VISION of Founder and CEO, Dr. Walt Landers, that Texas Leadership has now grown to five campuses including: San Angelo, Midland, Abilene, Arlington and Cedar Hill, Texas. As of recent, Texas Leadership serves over 3,700 students across the State, and seeks to develop leaders with the necessary life skills to achieve success. Our very own Sydnee Davis Owens had the honor of singing the National Anthem at the FCA All-Star Football Game and was also selected as an All-Star Cheerleader, proudly representing Texas Leadership of San Angelo!

Cheering on the Blue Team made the experience even more special, as one of her best friends, Momo, was also representing Texas Leadership of San Angelo as a Football All-Star.

We are so proud of both of these outstanding student leaders and the way they represent our school and community!

Summer is in full swing, and we hope all of our students, staff, and families are enjoying a fun and relaxing break!

As temperatures continue to rise across Texas, remember these simple tips to stay safe while making the most of your summer:

Stay Hydrated – Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
Be Sun Smart – Take breaks indoors or in shaded areas when spending time outside.
Dress for the Heat – Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing to stay cool.
Plan Ahead – Schedule outdoor activities during the cooler morning or evening hours.
