2026 FIND CA Missing Persons Event – Sacramento
Every missing person has a family, friend, or loved one searching for answers.
On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the California Department of Justice will host the FIND CA Missing Persons Event at California State University, Sacramento, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This free event is designed to assist families with missing loved ones by providing direct access to investigators, victim advocates, forensic specialists, and other support resources. Calaveras County Cold Case Task Force members will also be on hand to assist with this event.
Families will have the opportunity to:
- File a new missing person report or update an existing case
- Meet with investigators and support organizations
- Provide photographs, dental records, fingerprints, or DNA samples that may assist in locating or identifying a missing loved one
- Learn about resources available through the California Department of Justice and its partners
Those attending are encouraged to bring photographs, medical and dental records, identification documents, and copies of any available police reports. The event is particularly valuable for long-term adult missing person cases, although reports involving missing juveniles will also be accepted.
