As part of Calaveras Public Utility District's Cross-Connection Control Program, we are continuing to collect Hazard Assessment Forms from our customers.

If you received a Hazard Assessment Form in your water bill and haven't returned it yet, we would greatly appreciate your participation. These assessments help us identify potential cross-connections and protect the safety and quality of our drinking water system.

Completing the form only takes a few minutes and helps us meet state regulatory requirements while ensuring safe, reliable water service for our community.

📢 Board Vacancy – Now Accepting Applications!

The Calaveras Public Utility District (CPUD) is seeking community members who are interested in serving on the Board of Directors. The Board plays an important role in guiding District policies and supporting the delivery of water service to approximately 2,000 customers in San Andreas, Mokelumne Hill, Glencoe, Rail Road Flat, and Paloma.

🗳 Requirements:
Applicants must be registered to vote within the District.

📅 Deadline to Apply:
December 5, 2025 by close of business.

🕒 Term:
The appointed Director will serve through December 2028.

In this month’s bill, you’ll notice an additional page — a Hazard Assessment Form.

To comply with Section 3.1.4 of the Cross-Connection Control Policy Handbook (CCCPH), all Public Water Systems (PWS) must develop a written Cross-Connection Control (CCC) Plan). As part of that plan, we are required to conduct a hazard assessment.

We are asking all customers to complete the form and return it to our office.

The General Manager provides overall executive direction of all functions, services and activities of the District in support of Board Policies. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Calaveras Public Utility District is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The hourly pay ranges from $25.30 – $30.76. The District also offers an excellent benefits package which includes a CalPERS retirement (2.7% @ 55 for classic members, and 2% @ 62 for new members); 100% employee and dependent paid health, dental, and vision insurance; paid vacation and 12 paid holidays. Employees are members of the SEIU Local 1021 Unit. Posted until filled. The first review of applicants with be Monday, December 30th, 2024.
