Magoffin County Cooperative Extension Service We're part of the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State University off-campus information network. We deliver education, information and solutions.

The Magoffin County Cooperative Extension Service has three county agents who specialize in Agriculture and Natural Sciences, Family and Consumer Sciences and 4-H Youth Development. We have a variety of free programs and publications to assist community members.

Laugh & Learn was SO much fun today!

Today, we learned all about farms and farm animals! We read The Big Red Barn, “fed” our farm animals while practicing our pincer grip and fine-motor skills with tweezers, explored our sensory garden, and even painted a muddy pig! 🐷🎨

And the fun didn’t stop there—some of the adults joined in and rode horses with us! 🐴🤠

We also practiced the importance of washing our hands and tried some healthy, yummy snacks, including sugar snap peas, carrots, and apples with yogurt for dipping. 🍎🥕🫛

What a fun day of learning, playing, exploring, and trying new things! We can’t wait for our next Laugh & Learn!
