Are you looking for a great way to connect with our community and showcase your organization? The Town of Saluda Trunk or Treat & Fall Festival is here, and we want YOU to be a part of the magic!
We are officially looking for local partners to help us make Saturday, October 24, an unforgettable night for our families.

🗓️ When: Saturday, October 24, 2026
⏰ Time: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Where: Downtown Saluda, SC

🎯 How Your Group Can Participate:
• Churches, Civic Groups, & Sports Teams: Host a "Trunk" or tent space! Bring a fun carnival game, hand out candy, and show off your team or organizational spirit.
• Local Vendors: Set up a spot to showcase and sell your items, crafts, or seasonal goods to hundreds of local attendees.

🗳️ Scarecrow Contest Alert!
Get creative, Saluda! Our Scarecrow Contest is here. Festival attendees will vote on their favorites throughout the evening, and the big winners will be announced live before the festival ends!

⏰ REGISTRATION DEADLINE: You must sign up by Monday, October 12, 2026, to secure your festival spot or enter the contest. Space is limited!

🔷Job Opportunity: Town of Saluda is now accepting applications for a CDL Driver / Crew Member in our Streets & Sanitation Dept.

General Purpose: The main purpose of the class is to collect refuse for the Town of Saluda. This class is responsible for collecting refuse and recyclables, and delivering to designated locations. To work according to set procedures under direct supervision. Applicant MUST have a current CDL license.

Supervision Received: Works under the direct supervision of the Streets and Sanitation Supervisor.

Required Licensing: CDL

Position Open: Until Filled

Hourly Rate: $21 - $23
