Update on the grant sad to say we didn’t get the grant for the playground. But an upside we got one for the basketball court and pickleball court. We are working on three new grants and hoping we get atleast one of them. Just wanted to put this post out there to let everyone know we are still working hard on getting this project done.

New tickets for the playground. 10 dollars a ticket goes off the evening number on march 13th. Each ticket got 5 numbers.

Wanted to give an update on how things are going. We got turned down for the LSA grant for the playground. We do have a grant in and will hear something on that in November. We are going to start back on the fundraising. We are still hard at it getting this plan from idea to a physical place. And we hope you all had a wonderful holiday season.

Hi Everyone! All of the kids that attended the Nerf Battle yesterday seemed to have had a lot of fun. It’s just a fun way for kids to get away from screens, and expend some energy, while getting together with their friends. We supply the Nerf darts and eye protection, and the kids bring their own Nerf dart shooters. We would also like to be able to offer some Nerf shooters for kids that might not be able to participate because they don’t have one. If you have any that are not being used, we would gladly take any donations so that we can offer them to kids to borrow for the event. Our mission has always been ABOUT THE KIDS!! Thanks for your help!

A great big thank you to everyone that came out to the Nerf Battle today, The kids…and adults…had a great time! We hope to see you at the next one on December 13th!

We’re excited to share that we’ve raised $28,767.17 so far toward our new town playground!
The total cost for the playground itself is estimated to be around $76,000, and we’ll also need additional funds for tree removal and ground leveling before installation can begin.
We’re currently waiting to hear back on two grant applications that could help us reach our goal even faster.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone in the community for your incredible support so far. This project wouldn’t be possible without you!
