A huge thank you to the CNX Foundation for donating laptop systems to the Saltsburg Free Library.
CNX has committed $30 million toward improving our communities and generating long-term, sustainable returns for the region, our industry, and our company. “We are on a mission to change the trajectory of our region and to improve the lives of our neighbors,” said CNX Board of Directors member Nick DeIuliis. “Our industry is the lifeblood of the regional economy and the foundation of our social fabric. These investments will provide returns for our local communities for years to come. This is what sustainability and ESG mean to CNX.”
CNX Foundation is not interested in simply donating money. We facilitate creative problem-solving by bringing together a diverse range of partners and resources to invest in challenges that are often overlooked or ignored.
UPDATED LIBRARIAN STATION
This is the new librarian computer station thanks to the CNX Foundation.
They also upgraded the Patron Stations and Children's room with a similar setup. Patrons have access to 2 HP G4 Monitors, HP G4 Docking Station, Keyboard, Mouse, and Laptop Computer.
The library is currently setting up the Patron
Stations so they have access to Microsoft Office. At the present time patrons can only access the internet. We hope to have this resolved within the next week. Patrons will be very pleased with
the speed of the systems as ours were
getting antiquated.
CNX Foundation donations will allow us to set up a similar system in the conference room, and
possibly the music room, and the reading lobby area. These decisions will be made at a later date.
