Less than five years ago, House Minority Leader Angela Romero joined Tribal leaders at the White House as President Joe Biden restored protections for Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments.

Today, those protections have been rolled back again.

For many Tribal Nations, these are more than public lands. They are sacred places where culture, history, and traditions continue. Utah House Democrats remain committed to protecting them.
