Calling all Nomads! It's time to get your volunteer on! Omunitymoons presents Desert Wave: A Terraculture Festival is in need of some good peeps to greet, handle tickets and gate, and other volunteer duties starting tomorrow at noon. Free tickets for those willing to fulfill an 8 hour time commitment. 4 two hour shifts over the entirety of the festival. Thats a 105 dollar deal! Comment on the post and we will get you hooked up. This is an event you don't wanna miss!

What is Salty Nomads? Our collective is made up of folks in the Salt lake metropolitan area, we are not bound by any one man made division. Walking with the dreamers our network is vast and ever changing. The main focus is to direct energy towards sustainable, healthy, wholesome family friendly projects & ideas. While providing an informational outlet in regards to the evolution of this city.

Our page will be utilized in a collaborative effort to inform Salt Lake City’s populous when it comes to the underground arts scene, event’s, concerts, gatherings and educational workshops along with the local individuals, collectives, non-profits and business involved.

Stay posted as our website will be ready to rock shortly. This will initially include an easy to use community calendar keeping you up to date, as well as artist portfolios of all mediums from across the city.

The Nomads would like to personally thank Anna Sierra of Infinite Possibilities and all those who made this possible. The Infinite Possibilities Higher Consciousness Expo of 2016 put a smile on all our face. There are no words that can express our gratitude thoroughly! :) We truly value gatherings such as this, we will be standing by your side in the future no questions asked. Art: honest self expression in any way shape or form.

The aspirations of like minded individuals from across the city has thus far led to the creation of many collectives, nonprofits, business and organizations of all kinds. At the core off all these groups there is a common underlying factor. We all want to be a part of something bigger, a unifying movement, pushing us in a direction that will accommodate to our well being as a whole. By connecting these groups and supporting everything local, while bringing to light what each and every single individual has to offer, we truly believe we can unify this city for the greater good.

Our agenda is to promote sustainable, healthy, wholesome daily routines, by providing free classes in which practices will include meditation, yoga, martial arts as well as advocating permaculture, upcycling, recycling and a zero waste lifestyle.
We stand beside those hosting family friendly events, festivals, healing workshops, and all those volunteering/donating their time, energy, and efforts to improving the conditions of our Mother Earth.

Our goal is to provide a community calendar highlighting local events that promote our well being. We will keep you updated on news, events, festivals and gatherings in the local arts scene.
There are many business, nonprofits and groups in Salt Lake City taking action. We hope to shine a light on those making moves toward the greater good. We aim to bring them to your attention, intertwining our aspirations.
We are currently compiling a local business list, categorizing them for your convenience. This list along with the community calendar will be up shortly on our website.
For all those craftsman creating fine jewelry, glass, sculptures, clothing, art etc. there will be an easy to use online sales platform on our website. All local, with a drop off and pickup post.

We will soon have a warehouse space that will host events for artists of all kinds, an art gallery, recording studio, greenhouse, and free bi weekly meditation and yoga classes to name a few services provided by Salty Nomads. Our website is on track and will be ready for use by the time we have the space. All of this coming together accordingly, quite beautifully!
The greenhouse will be volunteer based. Our goal with this project is to facilitate educational programs as well as classes provided by local nonprofits; 50% of all produce will be donated directly to families in need.

All of your inspiration is motivation! We are lucky to have so much support from a variety of avenues across the city. We sincerely thank you! We wish to give back as much as possible.

These guys are doing an awesome thing this new years eve, with a mission to help everyone have a great evening by providing hygienic needs, water, a safe space, positive support and good vibes at this event! We hope you all stay safe and have an amazing night ringing in 2016!

We are excited to ring in the new year with the V2 Presents family and everyone at Decadence Salt Lake City 2015! We'll be against the back wall, so come find us!
