An icon in music, literacy and around the world, the Marriott Library celebrates the life and legacy of Dolly Parton. 🤍

In 1995, Dolly launched Imagination Library, a program providing free books to children from birth to age five and inspiring a lifelong love of reading.

Since first starting in Tennessee, the program has grown globally, gifting more than 300 million free books to children around the world.

Dolly understood the power of a good book and believed every child should have the opportunity to experience it. We thank her for her lifelong commitment to expanding access to free books and libraries.

Rest in peace, Queen Dolly. Your legacy will continue to inspire us all…🫶
