Art makes our community vibrant!

Mayor Erin Mendenhall stopped by Art at the Main, a co-op gallery inside the Salt Lake City Main Library, for a tour with artist Jeff Myers. This space is all about celebrating Utah artists and sharing their incredible, original, high quality work with the public.

Art isn’t just beautiful–it brings people together, supports the surrounding businesses, and makes our city an even better place to live.

Next time you’re at the library, pop into Art at the Main and support local artists!

Innovation was in the air at Utah Tech Week! We joined forces with at Summit to connect with the visionaries shaping Salt Lake City’s tech future.

We were eager to share the vision behind Tech Lake City, our initiative to strengthen the local tech ecosystem, while listening to the needs of startups, college students, and tech companies who are shaping this growing sector.

Special shoutout to Lorena Riffo-Jenson, Economic Development Director, and Jenna Barbari from BioHive for hosting a dynamic Facilitated Discussion, creating space for open dialogue on what the community wants to see from Tech Lake City over the next 12–18 months.

Thank you for hosting an incredible event, and ! Together, we’re building the future of tech in our community!

Supporting animal shelters and drinking coffee? What’s not to love!

Mayor Erin Mendenhall stopped at Hugo Coffee Roaster’s for her classic chai and to visit with owner Claudia McMullin.

Claudia’s passion and energy to support animal rescues filled the room. She knows the purpose behind Hugo’s and wants to share it with everyone.

She has several locations including two in Salt Lake City at the Main Public Library and inside the Salt Lake City Airport.

Did you know that Hugo is the name of Claudia’s rescue dog?
