Emergency Traffic Alert

Emergency Traffic Alert Emergency Alert Solutions has developed technology focused on reducing Distracted Driving, reducing accidents, reducing injuries and saving lives.

Emergency Alert Solutions has developed technology to greatly reduce accidents involving Emergency Vehicles. Our technology will actively engage a distracted driver, alerting them when approaching, or being approached by an Emergency Vehicle with its warning lights engaged. Distracted Driving is one of the major reasons for today's accidents and our technology has the ability to intervene and redu

ce accidents caused by distracted drivers. We encourage the US DOT, the NHTSA, the NTSB and the IIHS to study our technology and help us make this technology a part of every car manufactured. Not only do we solve emergency vehicle accident issues, but we provide warnings that alert drivers to stopped Law Enforcement vehicles, Ambulances, Tow Trucks, Fire Apparatus and all Emergency Vehicles.

Today's Emergency Vehicle Alert Systems are as antiquated as this Fire Engine. We have sirens and flashing lights and to date, nothing more. Secretary of Transportation, Anthony Foxx brought an end to the final stages of the testing that would have bright state-of-the-art warning technology to all Emergency Vehicles to help stop the slaughter of EMS and all emergency responder and those citizens who become part of accidents that are caused by private citizens in their cars not being notified of an approaching emergency vehicle, or if they are approaching stopped emergency vehicles. We are not turning to the private sector, the manufacturers since our government has no interest in bringing this alerting technology into the 21st Century.

The driver of that van was killed after striking the fire apparatus.

Police were looking for the damaged white Toyota and have converged on a home in Lorain where an arrest has been made. The crash that killed Officer Fahey occurred in the same area where Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Kenneth Velez was struck and killed in September 2016.
