Sexual violence can have lasting impacts long after the harm occurs. For many survivors, trauma may contribute to symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Pride Month is a celebration of resilience, identity, and community but it’s also a reminder that LGBTQ+ individuals continue to face disproportionately high rates of sexual violence. This Pride Month we reaffirm that prevention, advocacy, and healing must include everyone. 🌈
