Habitat takes on Mud Girl Obstacle Course 2026.💪

Members from Habitat SLC were able to head to Mona, Utah for a little fun in the sun ☀️. Hosted by MUDGIRL , the team was able to take a challenge head on and move through each obstacle working together and working with other women. This course is not only a chance to mud bathe but also a chance to network and practice team building skills. Can’t wait for next year!💗

Some days on the build site look like framing and painting. Other days look like pry bars, sledgehammers, and a whole lot of dust.🔨✨

Our incredible volunteer crew from Northrop Grumman stepped on-site in South Salt Lake to tackle the heavy lifting of gutting an abandoned property down to the studs. As part of our ongoing work to turn blighted local spaces into permanent, affordable housing, clearing out the old is the first crucial step toward building something lasting.

The Northrop Grumman team traded their regular workday to help us completely gut an abandoned home in South Salt Lake. Taking a neglected house down to the bare framing is physical, noisy, and deeply rewarding—because every floorboard pulled and wall removed brings another local family closer to safe, stable homeownership.

Grace leads our Habitat Cares program, oversees our collaborative disaster response efforts alongside Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), and thoughtfully guides applicants recovering from homelessness, domestic violence, or rehabilitation through our VIP program. Whether she is organizing special events, coordinating regional community partnerships, or supporting local families, Grace works tirelessly to make a tangible difference in our community.

Building hope starts with showing up for our neighbors.

In the wake of the recent fires, Habitat for Humanity is actively mobilizing to support displaced families as they begin the journey to rebuild. We are collecting essential home goods to help turn empty spaces back into safe, stable homes.

🚨Do you have any furniture or household supplies taking up space at home? 𝐖𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩!

🧯Local Utah families are recovering from recent displacement after apartment fires have destroyed everything they own. Habitat is working with VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) to gather supplies to help families recover from these fires.

🚒 Please bring any home goods and home supplies, or used, like-new furniture, to our Habitat ReStore, where we will sort and distribute items to families ASAP.
