Alpha and Charlie Company of the 405th CA BN participated in Pacific Partnership 2024 which was the largest maritime humanitarian and civic assistance mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. They visited Vietnam, Philippines, Yap, Kosrae, and Vanuatu as they practiced their craft and strengthened relations with local populace and government.

The 405th Civil Affairs Battalion conducted its annual Best Team Competition and the competition was fierce. Five Civil Affairs Teams competed over the course of two days in the M4, ACFT, and other events testing to see who was The Best Team. We congratulate HHC's Team as the winners and also applaud the rest of the teams for their hard work and dedication. Knock them out at the next round HHC!

The 405th Civil Affairs Battalion had a busy July as they conducted a Home Station Annual Training which included various elements from Combat Water Survival Training, CBRN Training, and Complex STIX Lanes; All designed to further enhance the readiness of the Battalion. They finished strong in August finishing tasks and giving well deserved promotions!

The 405th Civil Affairs Battalion conducted trainings during the scorching heat on Ellis Air Force Base that covered a variety of subjects including JHOC, JTAC, and JBC-P; All to support future Operations in our AO and to enhance unit readiness. We thank all the Instructors for their time and look forward for future cooperation between our organizations.

The 405th Civil Affairs Battalion hosted its second Norwegian Ruck March. A total of 129 participants from Army, Air Force, and Marines, gave it their all on an 30k, or 18 mile, ruck in the cold early morning of 07 April 2024. Once completed, their rucks were emptied of non-perishable foods which were donated to the local Food Bank.

We applaud their determination to complete this momentous task! We also thank those who supported this successful event: City Officials, Stretch Lab, and the Norwegian Embassy!

Bravo CO of the 405th Civil Affairs Battalion attended a JPMRC rotation with 1st BDE of the 11th Airborne Division at Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. There they honed their Civil Affairs skills in the extreme cold weather environment and more fully integrated with their active duty counterparts.
