This week, U.S. Attorney Holyoak and Assistant U.S. Attorney Mark Hirata visited folks at the Midvale Senior Center to discuss elder fraud in Utah, and gave tips to avoid these sophisticated scams.

A top federal official in Utah is warning that AI is helping scammers target older adults in increasingly sophisticated ways.

Tuesday, U.S. Attorney Holyoak visited the Midvale Senior Center where she and our office's Elder Fraud Coordinator, AUSA Mark Hirata, spoke to the older community members about fraud.
