Frederique Constant has been on an upward trajectory over the last few years. With clean aesthetics, improved movements, and elevated complications, the brand has created a penchant for broad appeal.

Recently, they released the Classics Moneta Solarmetre - a solar quartz watch that retains the classy design language familiar with FC.

According to the specs, the FC-120 movement provides up to ten months of reserve in total darkness, restarts in ten seconds upon exposure to light, and requires just one minute of ambient illumination to sustain a full day of operation.

UPDATE: The event with BALL Watch will now be held in the Rose Room (Tower Deli Building) at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi Utah.

Come join us for an evening with BALL Watch and learn about their enduring heritage that stretches back more than 125 years to the age of powerful locomotives, burgeoning freedom, and the obsession of Webb C. Ball, whose watchmaking expertise and high standards of precision revolutionized watchmaking and timekeeping forever.

BALL will be on hand to give a brief presentation and to showcase a special order prototype for our Utah watch community!

Summit Watch Club will bring Ball's current models, and food and refreshments will be provided.

In two weeks, HS-U welcomes Ball Watch to Utah. If you're unfamiliar with the brand, now's your chance to experience the enduring heritage that stretches back more than 125 years. From a time of powerful locomotives and burgeoning freedom, the obsession of Webb C. Ball to watchmaking and high standards revolutionized timekeeping forever.

It's Tuesday, and we've got the Favre Lueba 1737 Triple Calendar.

Although they boast 289 years of history, Favre Lueba is a relatively unknown brand outside of watch historians. That said, they are back under new ownership and releasing some really great models, even debuting at Watches and Wonders a few weeks ago.

Their latest release is the 1737, a triple calendar with a very approachable price point. What are your thoughts on the brand and the 1737?
