Salt Lake City Justice Court Homeless Outreach Court Events for June 2026:

1. The Salt Lake City Justice Court will be holding Homeless Outreach Court on Friday, June 5th at 9:00 a.m. at Workforce Services, 720 S 200 E. We will have a Spanish interpreter available. Please arrive by 9 a.m.

2. The Salt Lake City Justice Court will be holding Homeless Outreach Court during the Resource Fair on Friday, June 12th at 9 a.m. at Library Square, 210 E 400 S.

A Justice Court Judge and a District Court Judge will be available at each event.

Yes! Michelle Flynn of the Road Home is spot on. People are falling through the cracks. Our current paradigm of jailing, policing, ticketing, ER visits, and resulting crime that comes from scarcity, is the MOST expensive way to deal with the crisis.

“When people fall through the cracks, it is not inevitable,” Michelle C. Flynn, Janida Emerson and Kevin Curtis write in an op-ed. “It is a failure of coordination, and fixing that is a shared responsibility.”
