The Utah Department of Commerce fully supports Governor Cox's call for federal leadership on frontier AI safety, transparency, and accountability.

Through Utah’s Pro-Human AI Initiative, we demonstrate that the choice between innovation and safety is a false one. Establishing a targeted federal floor for frontier AI—focused on mandatory incident reporting, whistleblower protections, and independent evaluations—will safeguard critical infrastructure while preserving state authority to foster local adoption, consumer protection, and workforce development.

3. Enable 2FA and verify your recovery email/phone numbers.
