What a tragedy this is. The shooter was carrying a list of businesses to attack? How much hate a heart can hold astounds me.

Please pray for those affected by this

BREAKING🚨🏳️‍🌈 The man who shot two people dead outside a Tucson gay bar was carrying a note listing more LGBTQ+ businesses, with their addresses written on it.

Vincent Anthony Siqueiros, 42, and Cameron Davis Capara, 33, were shot at about 12:30 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of Venture-N, a longtime gay bar on North Sixth Avenue in Tucson. Both died at the scene.

Police say the gunman, Ousman Ceesay, 44, confronted the two men in the lot before shooting them. Ceesay was found with gunshot wounds as well and died at a hospital shortly after, in what police describe as a murder-suicide.

"The suspect was in possession of a note with several LGBTQIA+ associated businesses written on it," police said. Tucson Mayor Regina Romero said investigators confirmed the note carried addresses for multiple LGBTQ+ friendly venues and that Ceesay intended to cause more harm. He had no criminal record in Pima County and had never been in the Arizona prison system.

Pima County Board of Supervisors Chair Jen Allen called Venture-N a quiet neighborhood bar whose clientele are mostly gay men. By Monday afternoon dozens of people had left candles and flowers in the lot where the two men died.

Colete Barajas, who opened Tucson's first women's bar in 1983 and now runs a realty office on Fourth Avenue, was asked whether the list frightened her. "Yes, I'm nervous. I got my flag out there," she said. She has flown it outside her business since 1995. "My door is wide open. My door will always be wide open. We will not allow fear and guns to keep us behind closed doors."
