Investor Highlight: New Sarum Brewing Company 🍻

This week’s Investor Highlight features New Sarum Brewing Company, a homegrown business that has become part of the fabric of Downtown Salisbury.

Founded in 2012, New Sarum combines a passion for craft brewing with a strong connection to local history. Even its name celebrates Salisbury’s roots, drawing inspiration from “Old Sarum” in England, connected to Salisbury’s sister-city heritage. Today, the brewery operates from its home at 109 N. Lee St., where it produces its beers on-site and welcomes the community into its taproom.

New Sarum’s investment in Rowan County goes beyond great craft beer. Its downtown presence contributes to the local economy, tourism and the vibrant sense of place that helps make Rowan County an attractive community to live, work and visit.
