Many of our supporters have been writing and asking if we will be taking part in the planned July 31st Demostrations.
As much as we support the idea, ZTI does not encourage our supporters to be out in the streets at this juncture.

We value our people's lives and these are unprecendented times that requires us to take extraordinary mesasure to protect one another. Covid-19 is not a joke and we encourage everyone to heed the advice of the healthy professional. Lets try and ride this one out to fight another day
AS a party, we think its selfish and unwise to call people out into the streets and have them exposed. Given our economical situation, and the deplorable condition of our healthy care system, we need to be strategic. Covid-19 cases are spiking and lets not add fuel to smoldering fires.
Any demostration we do, needs to be strategic and not expose our people to unneccessary risk.

Please lets all stay safe and live to fight tomorrow!

To my fellow Zimbabweans, home and abroad, Merry Christmas and happy New Year. It is that time of the year we take a moment to reflect on our triumphs and failures of the soon to be past year. It has been a trying year littered by not so many great stories to celebrate nor to be proud of, yet, we soldier on. Let's not loose our guard my fellow Zimbabweans, hope and faith is our only armor. The resilience we have exhibited so far is a true testament to our strength and the courage we have to withstand any force that might wish to crush our spirit.
As we celebrated the birth of our savior and the new year so should we revive our faith. As long as we can still breath, hope is aplenty and no man or oppressor can take that away. A better tomorrow is no the horizon, therefore, lets all dream and dream big. All is possible. Merry Christmas my friends!

The DPZ cannot condone the use of sanctions that are causing untold suffering to the Zimbabwean people, as they deprive them of the most basic necessities in life, and are directed against a people that does not pose a danger. It is important then that we support the campaign to lift Sanction on Zimbabwe.

Political courage is one of the rarest commodities. Zimbabwe Democratic Party pledges to defend freedom and the rights of all Zimbabweans by putting principle before political expediency. Zimbabwe needs a revolution in the way we think, in the way we boost our wealth and economy for all our citizens. We have to re-establish confidence. We need to believe we can lift our economy to a better future. We need to have a positive attitude. We may not win. We may not get there. But nothing is surer that we will fail if we don’t project positively.
Public service and political life must be the highest calling. The catch cry in this place needs to be respect for ideas. Great debate always demands its victim and truth is the only winner. But we are all winners when truth prevails over injustice. The content of our character is more important than how much money we have. Governments may come and go, ideas go on forever. Its ideas that will shape the nation. Ideas endure through time, when we are gone and forgotten. In history, in commerce, in politics, it’s ideas that capture the conscience of the nation. Its ideas that endure when all else is gone.
Let us unite to serve the nation we love, to discover our future, to share our trials and tribulations, to overcome adversity, to pull together for our common good, and to know as a great man once said: “that on this earth God’s work must truly be our own.”

Why is TIZ different from the MDC formations and ZANU PF
Thanks for asking us about the difference, we have a few hundreds but here are the highlights.
We have not caused the deaths nor debts of anyone and wish never to. We believe in balanced budgets as far and fast as we can get Zimbabwe there. We believe in the ability of the people of Zimbabwe to make it all happen as we do in near and far countries once the conditions are right here at home. And we know the inclusion of everyone make all the magic we seek come to light.
We know and trust that soon more of us will begin to dream again about the possibilities available to the point where they can feel it like we do. Truly this is the way to go – inspiration, transformation and imagination. Finally for now – in all of this we’ll know we simply have to create it as we feel and see it.
From business incubators to creativity centers, to pay share options for our people. To the many, many concepts to be shared on alternative ways of caring, implementing and applying the gifts of to the world – that we are. I’ve included a link to mention more but one day when we talk more can be shared. Believe always in yourself for you can easily be the key to more for Zim than you ever know.
