The team beat Livonia Churchill 8-1 to advance to the Regional Final today vs Northville. The Hornets were led by solid pitching from Curtis and Mazur, while Winters had three hits, including a HR. Griffin and Onyskin also had HRs. Let’s see if the Hornets can finish the day with a win over the Mustangs!

The season ended in heartbreaking fashion tonight, with a 8-7 loss to Dexter in 3 OTs. The Hornets were up 4-2 at the half and 6-5 at the end of three. Dexter tied it at 7-7 late in regulation, and after two scoreless OT periods, the Dreadnaughts scored to win. It was a great season for the Hornets, who won the SEC for the 3rd straight year and finished 13-9 overall. Well done, Hornets!
