Raise your hand if you love fiddle leaf figs! 🙋‍♀️

These beauties can be challenging but when given the right conditions will thrive.

Fiddle leaf figs love good bright indirect light (direct can burn their gorgeous leaves to a crisp), minimal water (especially in the colder months), AND they hate drafts! Try to position your fiddle in an area that doesn’t have a window or heater vent too close.

Last night was the Celebration of Life for Mickey Muennig, the most inspiring architect and should be also called landscape architect, I know of. If you visit the incredible land of Big Sur don’t miss to stop in the Hawthorne Gallery, Post Ranch and many other open to the public destinations where you can experience human shelter in harmony with the land, an art expression of a wonderful humble man and incredible artist who had a gift and was dedicated to listen to his clients with the land in mind.

The Benefits of Gardening
