Yesterday youth volunteers participated in a canvas painting activity, helped keep the park clean through trash pickup, and celebrated an amazing week of service and learning together.

Participants also received certificates in recognition of their hard work and dedication throughout the week.

Youth volunteers got creative by building their own terrariums and learning about plant care and the importance of green spaces. They also helped keep our community beautiful by picking up trash around the park and put the finishing touches on paint projects of the week.

Thank you to Salinas Valley Recycles and Republic Services for joining us on Day 3 of the AMOR Salinas Community Service Camp!

Today, youth volunteers learned about recycling, composting, and proper waste disposal through hands-on activities. They also learned how to propagate plants, planted seeds to grow their own plants, and helped beautify the park by painting picnic tables.
