The messages may also include a link inviting recipients to schedule or set up an interview. Do not click the link, provide personal information, or respond to the message. We believe these communications are part of a phishing attempt.

Please remember: Salinas City Elementary School District posts and recruits for employment opportunities ONLY through Edjoin. Be cautious of unsolicited job offers—particularly those involving remote positions or links requesting personal information.

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond paid a visit to Boronda Meadows School today, where he spoke to student leaders during a panel in the school's amazing library, and then read a fable to students in the 3-4 combo class of amazing teacher Rebecca Freeman (before inviting a student to read along with him). Thanks to Superintendent Thurmond for the whirlwind visit--we are so happy he took the time to join us. And thanks to the MCOE Superintendent Deneen Guss for joining us, and to the Boronda Meadows team (Principal Paul Rodriguez, Vice Principal Haide Gonzalez, Parent Coordinator Alejandra Espino and the Boronda Meadows gang for rolling out the red carpet. Library tech Adrienne Kennedy made sure the spot was shining!)

Due to technical issues with our audio system, we are unable to livestream tonight's meeting. We invite interested members of the public to come to the District Office at 840 S. Main St. to participate in the meeting in person. We are beginning the public meeting now.

Happening Tonight! If you or someone you know needs assistance enrolling a student at the Salinas City Elementary School District, we will have staff available from 5-8pm at the District Office to assist.

Come over to 840 S. Main St., and not only will you get help with alllllllll the paperwork, but we have backpacks stuffed with supplies so your child can start the year off ready to learn, as well as fresh strawberries as a sweet incentive.
