Open House 2026! This last weekend we held our annual Open House at the East Garrison Station. What an amazing turn out! Thank you to all who came by! And special thanks to all the firefighters who set up this event and happily engaged with the community. Visitors were pleasantly surprised to see how many hands on activities were available. The demonstrations kept audiences engaged and excited. The new recycling pump pod was a hit. Firefighters can use this to practice fighting fire while recirculating and reusing water. 💦 Guests were treated to a firefighter lead, low flow opportunity to spray water and get the feel of being a firefighter! Thank you for the D.R.A.F.T.S. Unit. This is a game changer. This is an annual event so please watch out for it again next year! We hope to see you there.

Carmel Valley Area: County Club Drive. The County Club Firewise Group will be doing some road side clearance for access and egress improvements beginning today. (Wednesday) All work will be done only on country club drive; Wednesday a tree crew will be limbing trees growing into road and they will cut back to provide necessary clearance off road. On Thursday and Friday crews will be starting at the bottom of country club drive and working to the end of the road , focusing on high fuel areas that are encroaching. This work concludes Friday. Please use caution ⚠️ in this area as traffic control will be in place so the safety of the workers. Thank you! 🙏

Demonstrations, displays, activities, goodies for the kids, and fun await you and your family. Come on by and meet the firefighters of your Fire District. One week from tomorrow (Saturday).
