Saline County Democrats will host ​our annual Precinct appreciation picnic ​and Potluck Tuesday June 2​ in Sunset Park ​at Shelter #1​ beginning at 6:30 pm​. ​We will be serving Hot dogs​ with condiments​ and cold drinks. Please bring ​a side dish ​or dessert to share​ if you are able.​ We will also be providing time for all of our local candidates to speak directly to our Saline County Democrats. Help show our/your appreciat​ion for our precinct ​committee persons and support our local candidates as we kick off the 2026 Primary Election Season.

Salina Indivisible will hosting 2026 state election candidates, Colin McRoberts and Chris Mann to speak and answers questions for the community on Thursday, January 15 from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.

McRoberts is a candidate for the First District Congressional, Mann for Attorney General.

The event is free and open to the public, held at Central Kansas Cooperative in Education (409 W. Cloud).

Light refreshments will be served.

As we are coming to the end of 2025 please join us on Tuesday December 30th @6:30pm, at The Temple. This will be a working meeting as we plan, explore and document our next steps.

We will target candidates, precinct people and suggestions for candidates.

We will also ask for suggestions on areas we should immediately focus on this coming year. We will also ask what you are willing to do to help those ideas happen.

Please bring an appetizer or light refreshment to share if you are able. We look forward to seeing you!

****UPDATE**** The date with Christy Davis has been rescheduled for December 20, 2025.

Saline County Democratic Women will meet on November 15, 2025 in the Martinelli's Little Italy board room at 10:45am for their regular monthly meeting. This event is open to all. Officers are President Emma Doherty, Vice President Sarah Anderson, Secretary Cheri Thummel, Treasurer Janice Morris. Annual membership dues are $20. Please consider becoming a member!

Saline County Democratic Women will be hosting U.S. Senate candidate Christy Davis at their December meeting. The meeting will be Saturday December 20, 2025 in the Martinelli's Little Italy board room at 10:45am. This event is open to all, and bring a friend.
