Attention Salina businesses!

If your business has suffered as a result of the June 8 Storm, please take a moment to fill out the Economic Injury Worksheet!

The information collected will help document business losses and may be used by the State of Kansas in support of a request to the U.S. Small Business Administration for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan declaration.

Completing the worksheet does not obligate a business to apply for or accept a loan. It helps local and state officials determine the level of business impact in the community.

Starting Thursday, June 18th, westbound W. Republic Avenue will be closed at S. Broadway Blvd. while a water main is being replaced. The work will happen on W. Republic from S. Broadway Blvd. to Cherokee Drive. Crews will remove pavement to get to the water line, but nearby homes and businesses will still be accessible.

The project is expected to take about four weeks and should be finished by July 17th, weather permitting. Traffic will be detoured from westbound Republic at Broadway to Windsor Dr., Franklin St., and Pontiac Ave. Drivers should watch for signs, expect some delays, and use a different route if possible. Barriers will be set up to keep workers and drivers safe.

As a reminder, city offices will be closed on Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.
