🏊 Summer Swim Lessons are here!

We’re excited to offer swim lessons for preschoolers and youth this summer, designed to help participants build confidence and develop swimming skills in a fun and supportive environment.

🎾 These fun and supportive lessons help participants build tennis fundamentals, improve coordination and technique, and gain confidence on the court while staying active and engaged.

📍Every Friday this Summer at the Salida Middle School Courts

Ages 6–10: 3–4 PM
Ages 11–14: 4–5 PM

💚 In partnership with local members of the Salida Tennis Club.

Participants may sign up for one or multiple sessions, and each lesson is just $5.

We are excited to introduce 🌿Summer Flow – Outdoor Yoga Series 🌿

Move, breathe, and connect outdoors this summer with instructor Emily Marquis.

This all-levels yoga class blends mindful movement, stretching, strength, balance, and relaxation in a welcoming outdoor setting at Chisolm Park. Whether you're new to yoga or have years of experience, you'll find options that work for your body.

📣 Youth Cheerleading is coming this fall!

This fun and supportive program introduces participants to cheerleading through basic skills, cheers, motions, simple routines, and sideline performances at local youth football games. No experience is required!

🏈 Youth Flag Football is back this fall!

This active and supportive league focuses on skills, fitness, fundamentals, and sportsmanship while helping players build confidence and stay active throughout the season.

Spend a day on the Arkansas River learning the fundamentals of whitewater rafting and river safety with certified Canyon River Instruction guides.

Participants will learn:
🛶 River safety skills
🌊 How to safely swim through rapids
⚠️ Identifying river hazards
🚣 Re-entering a raft
🛟 Basic rescue techniques

All while enjoying a fun and adventurous day on the water!

Registration opens June 8 at 6PM
Class Dates: June 23, July 1, & July 14
Ages 8–14

Equipment and transportation to and from the river are provided. Participants should bring closed-toed shoes, water, lunch, snacks, sunscreen, and river-appropriate clothing.
