City of Salida Parks and Recreation

City of Salida Parks and Recreation Offering park and recreation services to those who live, work, & play in Salida! Each pool features a stepped entry with handrails to further ease entry.

The Salida Hot Springs Pool is the largest indoor hot springs facility in the country. Our water is gathered from an underground springs eight miles up the road, high in the Rocky Mountains. The Salida Hot Springs Pool public facilities consist of a large 25 meter, 6 lane pool, and a smaller, hotter soaking and play pool. The large pool dominates a large portion of the building, and at approximately 84° – 86°, this pool is delightful for swimming, diving and recreational play. Two lap lanes are usually available, with mornings set aside for several lanes of lap swimming in addition to fitness classes. The smaller pool has a zero-depth entry as well as a stair-entry, making it easily accessible. The depth gradually increases to four feet, and the temperature ranges from approximately 97° – 100°. These qualities makes this pool ideal for aqua-therapy, soaking, and young children. Additionally, there is an ADA compliant lift that allows for easy access into either pool.

Join us for a relaxing evening in the warm mineral water, with the opportunity to experience an Introduction to Janzu/Watsu during this month’s soak - a gentle form of aquatic bodywork that combines supported floating, stretching, and flowing movements in warm water to encourage deep relaxation and release tension.

🔹 Ages 18+
🔹 $12 per person

Janzu/Watsu sessions are available during Adult Hot Soak and spaces fill quickly, so we recommend signing up poolside when you arrive.

Kids ages 6–9 will spend the day exploring Triangle Oasis Farm, learning about gardening and getting hands-on with the plants. They’ll gather fresh greens to add to their lunch and pot seeds to take home and grow themselves!
