Members of station 78 had our annual 9/11 walk in the Upper Salford Park. Today 25 years ago is a day that America will remember forever. We walk in remembrance of all of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice on this day. We would like to thank Lower Frederick Fire Company, Pastor Ed VanArsdale and PA State Rep. Donna Scheuren for attending the walk today.

Early on in the day members attended a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at Harleysville Community Fire Company.

Members from Station 78 had a busy month of August not only responding to fire calls but with the annual Philadelphia Folk Festival. Members put in over 100 hours of time preparing, setting up, throughout the event and cleaning up.

September is going to be another busy month with events scheduled almost every weekend. Make sure to check the website for details of the events coming up.

We’re excited to introduce our NEW lending library at the firehouse. Stop by, grab a book, and enjoy a little rainy day reading time at home. 

The library was made possible through a Girl Scout Bronze Award Project. We’re so grateful for the time and effort put into creating something our community can enjoy!

‼️‼️Local Harleysville Residents Upcoming Detour Announcement‼️‼️

A heads up to our local residents who might encounter a road closure this week. Tuesday August 25th the company will be hosting our annual large tanker drill. The drill will be approximately 6:30-8:30PM
Indian Creek Road from Price Road to Sturgis Road will be closed unless you live in the area. Freeman School Road will be closed from Salfordville Road. Salfordville road will be limited access. Groffs Mill Park will be closed for the evening also.
There will be a large amount of moving trucks in the area, please take caution and give them room.
