🚒🔥 FIRE PREVENTION EDUCATION! 🔥🚒

This week, members of the Salem Fire Department had the pleasure of visiting Southern Hills Preschool to present fire prevention and safety education to the students!

Fire prevention education is an important part of keeping our community safe. Teaching children about fire safety at an early age helps them recognize potential dangers and understand what to do in the event of an emergency.

We would like to thank the students and staff at Southern Hills Preschool for welcoming our firefighters and allowing us the opportunity to share these important safety lessons!

Remember, fire safety starts with education! 🚒🔥

🚒 Fall Vehicle Extrication Training 🚒

Yesterday, members of the Salem Fire Department participated in our annual fall vehicle extrication training session.

This hands-on training provided our firefighters with an opportunity to sharpen their skills, review extrication techniques, and become more familiar with the tools and equipment used during motor vehicle accidents.

Training like this is essential to ensuring our members are prepared to respond safely and effectively when our community needs us most.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Wilcox Towing Trucking for generously hosting our training session and supporting our department’s continued training efforts.

The Salem Fire Department recently had the pleasure of visiting Bradie Shrum Elementary School to present a Fire Prevention Day for students and staff!

Throughout the event, firefighters shared important fire safety information, discussed the importance of fire prevention, and helped educate students on how to stay safe in the event of an emergency.

Events like these provide a great opportunity for our firefighters to interact with the younger members of our community while teaching valuable, potentially lifesaving skills.
