Today, I have been working in Columbus, meeting with several different Representatives and Senators, as well as, Department Directors and most importantly, constituents. I am working on creating effective communication pathways with the many who are able to lend a hand to Columbiana County.

After listening to many people from around the county, I was able to lift up individual stories to these legislative leaders - working with them to form avenues to address this issues. So thank you to all of the townships and village councils who have allowed me into their meetings so that I was able to bring these words down to Columbus today.

Over the past two days, I’ve been actively engaged in representing the Ohio Farm Bureau in Columbus. During this time I:
1. Had the privilege of meeting with, and advocating on behalf of my constituents, to 2 Senate candidates.
2. Diligently worked on refining value, creation and delivery models.
3. Thoroughly analyzed value, propositions and business dealings various entities.
4. Helped in problem-solving statewide issues and fostering impactful solutions.
5. And I’ve had the opportunity to engage with a network among a dynamic group of individuals enriching my professional connections in expanding collaborative opportunities.

Upon returning home, I was greeted by these signs and I couldn’t be more thrilled to apply the knowledge I’ve acquired doing this work, and many other such opportunities locally, at the state level, and nationally, towards serving the people of Columbiana County. I’m eager to leverage this experience to ensure we have the best County Commisioner possible, dedicated to the prosperity and well-being of our communities.

I just finished reading the Ohio Handbook for County Commissioners a second time. I want to be as prepared as possible for the position if the voters so choose to place me in that position.

What questions would you ask your county commissioner if you could? I’m trying to learn more about what the constituents want, and what they want to know.
