SOS CLUB Inc Salem Oregon's oldest membership club promoting recovery from addiction and alcoholism issues in our We are the SOS Club, Inc., of Salem, Oregon.

Founded in 1957 by a small group of local business people who were battling their addiction to alcohol and other substances. Their desire was to have a club atmosphere similar to that of an Elks or Eagles club, safe from the alcohol found there. Since that time, we have kept our doors open through fund raisers, donations and club membership dues. We serve any person in our community who has an int

erest in learning how to live without drugs and/or alcohol by offering a safe haven for meetings, socializing, etc. Many of our visitors are ordered to come find us, or the various programs who have their meetings in our clubhouse, directly from the Marion and/or Polk County court houses. Parents who are working with the Department of Human Services to regain custody of their children as a direct result of their battle with addiction.

Due to the Coronavirus, and for the safety of our club members, our volunteers, and meeting attendees, the SOS Club will be closed, starting today, for the next 15 days. We will review the situation at that time in order to consider the health aspects of this pandemic and whether reopening is appropriate.
Those who would like to pick up home group material may do so today between the hours of 430 and 700pm.
Thank you for your understanding during this extremely difficult time, as safety is always our #1 consideration.

Sorry for the inconvenience, for the safety of all our members and volunteers, starting Monday, March 16, 2020 the S.O.S. club will be opening at 4:30pm everyday and closing at the end of the last meeting. We will also open the annex for the Wednesday and Saturday noon meetings at 11:30 to 1:30. Due to the Corona Pandemic.
