Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27th is the day! We look forward to seeing you at the first TWV Breakfast at the PennsGrove site!

This Memorial Day, we remember the veterans who should still be here.

Green Star Families of America is inviting supporters across the country to add “One Mark for the Missing” to their American flag display, a quiet mark of remembrance for veterans lost to su***de and the families left behind.

It doesn’t have to be elaborate. A green-painted finial tip, green tape, a ribbon, or even a green marker. Simple. Respectful. Visible.

For too many families, su***de remains surrounded by silence, stigma, and invisibility. This small green mark is a way to say:

You mattered.
Your service mattered.
Your family is not forgotten.

As we honor those who served this Memorial Day, we also stand beside the families carrying a loss too often left unspoken.

Reminder of the VFW Post 253 ceremonies. You may want to bring an umbrella with you.

VFW Post 253 list of 2026 Memorial Day services,. The Salem County Department of Veterans Affairs is honored to host, as well as begin their ceremony by following flag protocol and raising the flags.

Thank you to Hook Equipment Sales, Construction, Del Val Tire for their donation of time, Equipment, material and expertise! The cannons look absolutely amazing! You guys rock! 👏🙌

Hook Equipment was proud to support Trevor Farmer on behalf of Daretown Troop 60 with his Eagle Scout Project of restoring two cannons for the Salem County Veterans Services. Hook Equipment prepped and painted the cannons with Trevors assistance, special thanks to Del Val Tire for providing tires and Hook Constructions LLC for assisting with delivery. We would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend.

Thank you to Shannon Franks, a U.S. Army, Artillery, 2024 Medically Retired, Iraq War Veteran, who showed up at the cemetery just in time to lend a hand reattaching a flag. She expected to be the only one out in the rain to take a moment to stroll the cemetery to pay respects, she demonstrated true Veteran spirit by promptly lending a hand and letting me take her picture! Thank you, ma’am! Let’s give her 🙌👏🇺🇸❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
