At the Salem Saturday Market, we raised $511 for Congregations Helping People, a ministry of local churches that addresses homelessness by providing emergency financial assistance to our neighbors threatened by eviction or utility shut offs. Thrivent purchased most of the pies that were provided at great discount by Willamette Valley Pie Co. We were able to spotlight WVPC, a local Christian family-owned business as well as Thrivent Financial!
