NYSAWG, the backbone organization for the Food Future WNY project, is developing its next chapter to ensure the organization's infrastructure reflects a mission to deliver results in making community-informed investments in our regional food system, including seven recommended priority projects to date.

Meet The New York State Center of Excellence for Food and Agriculture at Cornell AgriTech!

The Center focuses on:

- Pushing entrepreneurs and startups to launch their businesses in New York and commercialize products and services.

- Pulling companies into the state by connecting them with innovation resources and economic development partners.

- Growing existing food, beverage and agriculture-related companies from across New York State through business mentoring, technical assistance, research, business-to-business partnerships, supply chains and the myriad of resources they need to succeed and thrive.

Meet the Good Food Buffalo Coaliton!

GFBC was launched in 2018 to bring the Good Food Purchasing Program to Western New York.

They believe children and all people deserve access to healthy food and food that values workers, animals, and the environment—while lifting local communities out of poverty. The member organizations work collaboratively in a grassroots coalition representing the six values of the Good Food Purchasing Program.

Together, they educate the community about the food system, increase awareness about impacts and outputs (as well as economic opportunities of the food system) and advocate for public institutions in Buffalo and Erie County to operate in consideration of public values and ensure that those institutions are accountable to the needs of the people and places they work for and around.
