YOU ARE INVITED! Tomorrow, April 16th evening, join 1,500+ Justice Seekers who will gather at First Baptist Church of St. Pete to ask the Pinellas County and local City officials to do the right thing by implementing policies and procedures that are fair & just to our less fortunate neighbors!

This year's issue-work areas are;
- Continuing to fund 'Care About Me' Behavioral heathcare system for all mental health & addication issues, for ALL residents of Pinellas.
- Build more Affordable Housing for houeholds making 80% are lease of the Area Median Income which is about $85K for a family of four.

Join us on the evening of April 16th at the largest annual gathering of our inter-faith justice ministry where we take stand and ask our county and city officials to address community problems.
- To create more Affordable Housing
- To continue funding couty's Care About Me, county's behavioral health service for all mental and addiction issues
- To improve building codes to address water runoffs and flooding.

Come, join us this Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pete., where justice ministry members from 40+ congregations of diverse faiths in Pinellas County will select a new community problem to work on this coming year!

FAST leaders met with County staff yesterday to review the first six months of Care About Me. So far, almost 900 people have been helped and the county reports that they have a ton of available appointments for mental health and addiction treatment available every week! Most people are able to get an appointment within 4 days of calling. Please continue to share the word about this important service!

A few years ago, after hearing hundreds of stories from community members about their struggles to find mental health and addiction treatment, we asked the county to create one central pathway for getting help. We sent hundreds of letters and attended county commission meetings, and the county staff went to work making this dream a reality! Now, all Pinellas county residents (including youth) can call, text or chat with experts to get scheduled with the mental health or addiction help they need through CareAboutMe.org !

Thanks for all who joined us last night at the prayer vigil. Please continue to pray with us that Mayor Welch shows up at the Nehemiah Action on April 30th and addresses our concerns around the lack of affordable housing!

It comes as officials are expected to vote on the Rays and Hines deal later in the spring.
