Elma serves as a Squad Sergeant in our Unit and is apart of our shooting and honor guard teams!

Zane serves as our Unit’s Training Lieutenant and also serves on the Youth Board of the Florida Association of Police Explorers.

In addition he has served on our state competition team, honor guard and drill teams!

We could not be happier to congratulate Officer Joshua Hughes on being named 2025 Rookie of the Year!

Since joining Squad 29, Officer Hughes has demonstrated outstanding professionalism, dedication, and integrity. He has quickly earned the respect of his peers through his strong work ethic, commitment to growth, and willingness to serve wherever needed.

A true hometown hero, Officer Hughes supports community policing by building relationships and engaging with residents in the neighborhoods he serves. We congratulate Officer Hughes on this well-earned recognition and look forward to his continued service.
